Beginning just after Thanksgiving, you may perchance some night find yourself driving behind one of our motorcoach groups gawking at Christmas lights. People in Richmond have, in recent years, gone "all out" for Christmas decorations. In many neighborhoods, from Thanksgiving to New Year's, you can see a steady stream of car and foot traffic each night, and for good reason. People really get into the Christmas Spirit by putting up all kinds of lights, and some put up THOUSANDS. As spectacular as the lights in downtown Richmond are, the James Center downtown and the Grand Illumination is certainly something not to be missed.
In past years, tens of thousands have enjoyed the Christmas images here and aboard our motorcoaches travelling the City. This year, we have posted the houses that we think are worth mentioning along with our rates for ejoying the tour below.
The rates for chartering our vehicles for the 2009 Tacky Light Tours are as follows:
Each tour includes a stop at our partner Bear Creek Coffee for a free cup of hot chocolate and a short rest break if your group is interested.
